3 Greensboro residents accused of stealing from Davidson County sweepstakes business

Greensboro, NC — Three Greensboro residents are accused of stealing money from a sweepstakes machine on Monday.

 

Monoletia Rahmont Davis, 38, of 1521 Bridford Parkway Apt. 15J; Michael Antwan Cheek, 32, of 1007 Pineland St. Apt. B; and Angela Marie Stallings, 52, of 1222 Edenham Way, are each charged with four counts of misdemeanor injury to personal property, two counts of obtaining property by false pretenses and one count of attempting to obtain property by false pretenses, the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office said.

The trio is accused of breaking into a machine at the Gold Rush, a sweepstakes business at 6483 Old U.S. 52, and stealing money, the sheriff’s office said.

Stallings, Davis and Cheek were jailed with bail set at $100,000 each.
